Course Overview

This course provides learners with a solid understanding of required maintenance of the Gas Chromatography (GC) system and basic troubleshooting strategies. Designed for new operators or those wanting a refresher, this course covers GC issues typically encountered in a laboratory setting. Discussions include inlet cleaning, column cutting and installation, and basic GC system troubleshooting. Training will be conducted on Labtopia's Agilent 5890 and 7890 GCs.

By the end of this course, you will have a good grasp of what routine maintenance of the GC system entails, and will be able to make effective troubleshooting decisions.
